The Child Care Research Collaboration and Archive (CCRCA) is a two-and-a-half year contract to create an infrastructure for collaborative research and analysis and information sharing among researchers, policy makers, and other key stakeholders. It will serve as a repository of child care research and data through a web-based archive; develop and disseminate materials designed to improve child care policy research; and synthesize findings for policy makers.

Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS)
The purpose of the State Early Childhood Comprehensive Initiative is to support States to plan, develop and implement collaborations and partnerships to support families and communities in their development of children who are healthy and ready to learn at school entry. In 2003, 48 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Republic of Palau were awarded grants to develop Comprehensive Early Childhood Systems-building plans. Grantees are now in the process of completing plans and beginning implementation activities.

First Candle/SIDS Alliance
First Candle/SIDS Alliance is dedicated to increasing awareness of SIDS and other causes of unexpected infant deaths. First Candle supplies comprehensive, up-to-date
information on infant health and survival to expectant parents and child care
providers. They also provide technical assistance to state professional
programs and childcare providers on safe sleep and risk reduction education.

Healthy Child Care Consultant Network Support Center (NSC)
The Healthy Child Care Consultant Network Support Center (NSC), funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau in August 2005, will support the goals of Healthy Child Care America and the state Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems by strengthening statewide networks of Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs). The NSC, led by the Center for Children & Families at Education Development Center, Inc., with its partner, the CHT Resource Group, is developing a website that will feature a national CCHC Registry, as well as information and resources for state health and child care leaders, local child care providers, and others interested in child care health consulting.

The National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care is dedicated to promoting the health and safety in out-of-home child care settings throughout the nation through publications such as Caring for Our Children: National Health and Safety Performance Standards Guidelines for Out-of-Home Child Care Programs, Second Edition, and Healthy Kids, Healthy Care: an easy-to-use website for parents and caregivers with information about health and safety in child care.
