Parents Child Care Providers Health Care Professionals Tools & Strategies State-by-State

Outside the family, few advocates for children enjoy as close
an advisory relationship as health professionals. By providing guidance to child care providers and parents, health professionals have the opportunity to initiate conversations
about children's health, adjustment, and development; serve
as consultants; speak to parent groups; and communicate
with child care providers about treatment options.

The following resources are dedicated to helping health professionals understand children and their development within the context of the community.
